From BlogSherpa (beta)
Putting your first post into blogsherpa is really straight forward. Once you've had a note from us letting you know you've been accepted for BlogSherpa you can immediately start adding tags (called 'labels' in blogger) to your posts.
To add a post to blogsherpa just add the tag (label) 'blogsherpa' to it. You should also add tags to let us know where your post is about. In order to work out which destination tags to use, visit the lonelyplanet.com page you would expect your post to appear on; for example, if you're writing a post about Paris you would look for the Paris page on lonelyplanet.com and note how it's described in the URL
www.lonelyplanet.com/france/paris
In this case you need to add the tag 'paris' and 'france'
However, in some places it's more complicated, New York for example has the URL
www.lonelyplanet.com/usa/new-york-city
for New York City and
www.lonelyplanet.com/usa/new-york-state
for New York State
Depending on where you want your post to appear you'd either tag your post 'New York City' or 'New York State' but in both cases would add 'usa' - note the removal of the dash from the tags.
Once you've added both the blogsherpa tag and destination tag it can take up to 24 hours for the post to be picked up by BlogSherpa and displayed on lonelyplanet.com - in some circumstances we can run the process manually, and if you're having issues getting your posts to appear we can work with you directly to fix the problem - before you contact us though have a read through the bug list, feature request list and FAQs

Things to remember
- It can take up to 24 hours for your posts to appear on lonelyplanet.com
- Check your destination tags against the URLs on lonelyplanet.com
- Your post HAS to be in your RSS feed to appear on lonelyplanet.com (see - BlogSherpaGrabbingContent)
